When the future psychologists Anastasiia, Anna and Oleksandra joined the UPSHIFT social innovation programme, they knew what their aim was – to support the mental health of teenagers.
Over the course of three months, the programme, implemented by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and designed to empower young people, offered the three university students the mentoring and resources they needed to make their dream a reality.
“We came to the programme to help under-socialized teenagers unleash their potential,” says 18-year-old Anna. “Many talented people are afraid to express themselves in society. We want our project to be an impetus for them to start achieving their goals.”
