Academic achievements: Students honored for hard work | School News


Belmont University

Five Crossville students earned placement on Belmont University’s dean’s list for spring semester.

They are Julia Clymer, Nicholas Geragotelis, Lexi Hamby, Hatler Luse and Alyssa Tabor.

Dean’s list eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

Belmont University’s campus is 2 miles from downtown Nashville.

Southern New Hampshire University

Southern New Hampshire University has honored several Crossville students during its winter term, which runs January-May.

Earning president’s list honors were Crossville’s Brandy Allred, Dakota Post, Ashley Ager and Antwon Boone.

Students who earn president’s list honors are full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the president’s list.

Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Rikki Johnson and Jerrell Jackson, both of Crossville, were named to the dean’s list.

Dean’s list honorees are full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.500-3.699 for the reporting term.

Southern New Hampshire University’s campus is in Manchester, NH.

University of Mississippi

Cameron Collins of Crossville was named to the University of Mississippi’s fall honor roll.

Collins, majoring in theater, was named to the chancellor’s honor roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.

To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

The University of Mississippi’s main campus is in Oxford, MS.
