Adaa Khan learnt about the importance of nature and the environment early on in life. The actress has always been inclined towards keeping the environment clean by practising a few things at home. On World Environment Day today, she shared what measures she takes to keep her surroundings clean.
Adaa says, “I have lived in Mumbai all my life. Over the years, there is very little greenery left in this city and I love to be around nature. Maintaining greenery around is so important for fresh air. I have potted plants at my place, which helps keep the air fresh. Greenery around us can bring positivity.”
Adaa, who loves to travel, believes that travellers must follow certain rules. She says, “Whenever I am travelling and going to new places, I try to not ruin the beauty of that location. I ensure that I never throw garbage on the road, mountains, beaches or anywhere else. At home, I also keep wet and dry garbage separate which is a practice all should follow. Global warming is a reality and everyone has to do their bit to protect the environment.”
