From the shores of St. Thomas to the frontlines of global service, Dr. Marica Latoya Ferguson has forged a path defined by resilience, service, and empowerment. A twenty-year U.S. Navy veteran, nonprofit founder, and entrepreneur, Dr. Ferguson has turned every chapter of her life into a mission to uplift others.
Her journey began at just 17 when she enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Through deployments and leadership roles in logistics and training, Dr. Ferguson gained not only rank but purpose. A defining moment came during her time overseas, where witnessing the hardships faced by military families and single mothers sparked a lifelong mission. “I wanted to be the person I needed during those tough times,” she reflects.
After retiring in 2019, Dr. Ferguson answered that calling by founding Divine 3 Baby Bundle, Inc., a nonprofit providing essential baby items to single mothers. “My story is meant to inspire others to act with heart,” she shares. Her organization, now a national network, serves hundreds of families annually—testament to her belief in the power of community support.
Balancing compassion with professional excellence, Dr. Ferguson also serves as Vice President of PHI Solutions, LLC, where she enhances military education and training systems. Her leadership continues to influence how service members prepare for life beyond active duty. Her creative side flourishes through MTK Kreations, LLC, a handmade craft business that doubles as a platform for collaboration and mentorship.
