Morgan Michele Lewis of Montgomery commissioned into the Army, Nurse Corps in a ceremony held Dec. 15 by the University of North Georgia. 

Morgan Lewis of Montgomery made the fall 2023 Dean’s List at the University of North Georgia (UNG) for achieving at least a 3.5 grade-point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.

Bryce Prater of Montgomery was named to the Fall 2023 Dean’s List at Berry College. The Dean’s List honors students who posted an academic average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying a class load of at least 12 hours during the semester.

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at University of Mississippi inducted Miller Williams, of Montgomery, majoring in Multi-Disciplinary Studies, among the more than 190 students. The university held an induction ceremony on Oct. 25 at the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts on campus.
