Business-class heroes unite in Benoni

Business-class heroes unite in Benoni

This monthly breakfast business development initiative was founded by local business Gryphon Enterprise Development.

The ARTBC aims at building resilient business communities in Benoni and beyond.

At each meeting, business professionals hear and tell stories of their individual journeys and enjoy a buffet with an English or health breakfast.

Project co-ordinator Bonnie Chimanikire said the benefit gained at ARTBC is wisdom on how to maintain sustainable businesses and overcome challenges, such as increased competition, decreasing demand for products and services, poor “locality”, ineffective marketing and the state of the economy, to name but a few.

The cluster is exposed to form open and trusted business relationships with each other and network.

ARTBC is set to provide a practical, synthetic, synergy learning environment.

The opportunity to be the speaker at a breakfast function is also gained.

At this month’s meeting, that was held on May 16, Frik Wentzel, founder, owner and CEO of Emerald Sky Risk Solutions (Emerald Risk Solutions and Bastion Training Academy), was the guest speaker enjoyed by the cluster.

Wentzel is passionate about youth development within the security industry, believing that excellence skills, integrity and discipline will develop the best future leaders globally.

The breakfasts are held every third Friday of the month, at Cherrylane Gourmet Café, in Northmead, from 7.30am to 8.30am.

The next meeting will be held on June 20, and will feature David Grimsley, director of Active Chemicals.

A fee is payable for the breakfast.
