Celebration of Cultural Exchange, Community and Fun

The Office of Outreach Global at Auburn will host its third annual Global Community Day Festival on Saturday, April 20, from 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m., at the Opelika Amphitheater, 1001 SportsPlex Parkway.

The free festival will draw in international and domestic communities from Auburn, Opelika and the surrounding areas to experience a day dedicated to cultural exchange and celebration. Activities throughout the day will include the Vendor Trade Fair, the Global Attire Fashion Exhibition, musical performances, dance demonstrations, international food trucks, arts and crafts, sports and games.

The event aims to promote cultural awareness, enhance diversity and encourage multicultural learning. The festival provides a space for community members, student clubs and organizations, as well as governmental and trade groups, to engage with one another and celebrate the diversity within our community.

If you are interested in having a booth at the festival, performing a talent, participating in the Parade of the Flags or Global Attire Fashion Exhibition or sharing in your culture in some other way, contact Olivia Houlden ([email protected], 334-844-5787). If you would like to register as a vendor and sell goods/food, please register here or reach out to [email protected].
