Coventry students showcase creative talent in GCSE exhibition


Woodlands Academy recently held their annual exhibition of GCSE fine art, graphics and photography.

The Year 11 students showcased their creative work throughout the year as part of their assessment for their GCSE final grade.




Photography students used a combination of both digital and traditional techniques, using light-based and Photoshop to create images as well as traditional dark room techniques.

The fine art students incorporated a variety of unique mediums and techniques, which were created and displayed in both in 2D and 3D forms.

Mrs Evans, curriculum leader, said: “We are extremely pleased with the overall standard, there was some outstanding pieces of work.”
