Olympic gold medallist Darren Campbell tells BBC Sport athletics is “in the gutter” following allegations that top coach Alberto Salazaar and American long distance runner Galen Rupp violated anti-doping rules.
Both Salazaar and Rupp both deny the allegations, made in a BBC Panorama programme,
British middle-distance runner Jenny Meadows says she would think twice about pursuing a career in athletics if she were starting out again, while hurdler Tiffany Porter says it is frustrating that achievements on the track are being overshadowed by doping allegations.
