Flint’s Got Talent returns this fall to showcase creativity in community

FLINT, MI – For those with talent in Flint, a big show is calling for you.

Flint’s Got Talent will host its second annual contest on Nov. 4 at the Capitol Theatre in the city’s downtown area.

The showcase is hosted by local anti-violence advocacy group WOW Outreach, who works with iMichigan Productions, a collection of media professionals with over 75 years of experience in the classroom and behind the lens in producing television, film, video and other media projects.

Musicians, artists, singers, comics and dancers are welcomed from ages 13-25 to register for a three-minute audition.

Ten people will be selected to perform in Flint’s showcase. Only those living in Flint and Genesee County are eligible.

No prior experience is required to enter the contest. Cash prizes will be determined by the audience.

The top prize in 2022 went to songstress Ava Safely who performed a rendition of Etta James’ “At Last.”
