Dr. Rhonda Anita, affectionately known as Rhonda A. Thompson, is more than an empowerment speaker—she is a warrior, a healer, and a voice for the voiceless. A survivor of domestic violence and sexual abuse, Dr. Anita has turned her own pain into purpose, becoming a national beacon of strength, restoration, and spiritual transformation.
With unwavering focus, this Milwaukee native rose from hardship to hope, founding Rose of Sharon Transitional Living for Women, Inc., Real Estate’s Leading Lady, and the Amazing Life Empowerment Group (ALEG). Through these platforms, Dr. Anita has impacted the lives of countless women by guiding them from trauma into triumph. “Healing the human spirit means helping women create a new reality of wholeness,” she explains. “And that starts with confidence, self-awareness, and forgiveness.”

When asked what inspires her continued service, Dr. Anita shares, “I survived to serve. Every woman who finds her voice through mine gives my life greater meaning.” That mission has led her to stages across the country, where she empowers survivors to become overcomers—through faith, community, and truth-telling.
In 2025, she completed her MA in Christian Leadership & Business and earned her PhD in Christian Counseling from Trinity International University of Ambassadors. She is also an ordained minister, using her education, lived experience, and anointing to minister healing into broken spaces.
Dr. Anita’s impact has been recognized with accolades such as the 2024 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, the Congressman John Lewis Ambassador Award, and the Orchid Award from Top Ladies of Distinction. Her advocacy shines through events like Living Behind the Mask and her powerful Tea Party Socials, which blend entertainment, healing, and community-building in unforgettable ways.
Whether through her bestselling books—The ReBirth, Don’t Spill the Tea, and Women Win Against All Odds—or her tireless nonprofit work, Dr. Rhonda Anita remains committed to helping women recover, rebuild, and rise.
