Following an extensive search process, King’s College London is delighted to announce that Georgina Cannon has been appointed Executive Director of Philanthropy & Alumni Relations.
Georgina will join King’s at the start of November from the University of Cambridge where she currently holds the role of Managing Director of Development. During her time at the University of Cambridge, Georgina was part of the team that delivered the University’s £2bn fundraising campaign ‘Dear World…Yours Cambridge’, which closed ahead of schedule in 2022. She previously held the position of Director of Development, Schools and Institutions where she led the team responsible for fundraising for the University’s non-medical academic schools, departments and collections.
Having begun her career working with international NGOs before moving into higher education, Georgina brings over 20 years’ experience working as a professional fundraiser for non-profit institutions.
