Indeed, her work with the American Legion, Special Olympics, and initiatives like blessing packages for shut-in veterans are proof that her dedication runs deep.
A defining moment in Dr. Green’s career came when she stepped into a key manpower role within AFLCMC/DP, helping multiple directorates fill critical workforce gaps. “Complex problems require integrated analysis, and I thrive where there are challenges,” she explains. That mindset allowed her to complete nearly 30 manpower-related projects in one year—impacting close to 500 positions and strengthening the Department of the Air Force’s mission capabilities.
Even amidst her many professional responsibilities, Dr. Green finds balance by remaining actively involved in local events, veteran outreach, and youth mentorship programs. “Community has always grounded me,” she says. “Whether it’s organizing holiday food drives or judging science fairs, I find joy in lifting others.”

Dr. Venetia Green is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and seasoned Department of Defense Program Manager with over 40 years of dedicated public service. Her current role supports the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center in manpower analysis, validation, and strategic planning across multiple directorates. She holds a Master’s in Joint Warfare from Air Command and Staff College, a Bachelor’s in Management/Human Resources, and two associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force. Beyond her professional work, Dr. Green has led impactful community initiatives with the American Legion and Special Olympics, supporting veterans, youth, and underserved families.
