Pakistani Embassy in Ankara hosted a Cultural and Cuisine Festival, featuring the acclaimed Pakistani Basmati rice. Held on the embassy lawns, the event offered a diverse array of dishes representing the rich culinary traditions of Pakistan and Türkiye.
Prominent attendees included former Turkish Minister for Agriculture Dr. Mehmet Mehdi Eker, Mayor of Ankara Mansur Yavaş, MP Burhan Kayaturk, along with diplomats, culinary experts, food enthusiasts, businessmen, and media representatives.
Ambassador Dr. Yousaf Junaid welcomed guests, emphasizing the festival’s aim to deepen culinary ties between Pakistan and Türkiye and to present the exceptional quality of Pakistani cuisine to Turkish friends.
Chefs Ali Hassan from Pakistan and Yunus Coskun from Türkiye showcased traditional and innovative recipes, sharing culinary techniques and secrets. The highlight of the event was the tasting stations, where guests enjoyed a variety of rice-based dishes, including biryani, chicken pulao, zarda, kheer, and various Turkish specialties.
