Pakistan’s richest man Shahid Khan, has amassed a net worth of Rs 1 lakh crore. Ranked as the 158th wealthiest person globally, Shahid Khan is married to Ann Carlson.At the age of 16, Khan first moved to the US with aspirations of becoming an architect. However, he abandoned this dream after completing his first year at the University of Illinois, realizing that architecture might not be as lucrative as other careers.
Motivated to achieve financial success, he shifted gears and pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering, graduating from the UIUC College of Engineering in 1971. While studying, Khan began his career at Flex-N-Gate, an automotive manufacturing company, eventually rising to the position of engineering director after completing his education.

In parallel to his job, Khan founded Bumper Works, a company that specialized in manufacturing one-piece truck bumpers known for their reduced weight and enhanced structural support. The success of Bumper Works enabled Khan to acquire Flex-N-Gate in 1980 from his former employer, Charles Gleason Butzow. This acquisition significantly bolstered Khan’s presence and influence in the automobile industry. Subsequently, after achieving substantial success with his ventures, Khan was granted US citizenship in 1991.

Shahid Khan’s children’s role in his businesses
Shahid Khan’s son Tony Khan takes care of the family’s sports ventures. His net worth is estimated to be around Rs 12 thousand crore.
Tony Khan is of Pakistani descent but was born and raised in Illinois, USA. He heads various sports ventures such as All Elite Wrestling (AEW), the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL, and the Premier League’s Fulham FC. Beyond sports, Khan is involved in TruMedia Networks, Activist Artists Management, and Ring of Honor (ROH).
On the other hand, Shahid Khan’s daughter, Shanna Khan is big on philanthropy apart from her business ventures. She grabbed headlines last year for her generous donation of Rs 123 crore to the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
Shanna Khan, married to Justin McCabe, who serves as the managing director of Wolf Point Advisors, dedicates herself to supporting vulnerable youths and their families.
