Agartala, June 16: Minister for Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury felicitated the meritorious students, who passed Higher Secondary examinations- 2024, at Majlishpur constituency on Sunday.
The felicitation ceremony was held at Geetanjali Hall in Ranirbazar where around 800 students from various schools of Majlishpur assembly segment were honoured.
The event organized by the initiative of Chowdhury celebrated the students’ academic achievements. The meritorious students were felicitated with certificates of merit, bouquets, diaries, pens, and mementos.
Chowdhury said, the students have not only made their parents and schools proud but have also brought recognition to the entire region.
He also said, despite numerous challenges and adversities, these students have emerged victorious in one of the most significant exams of their lives. The ceremony aimed to salute their hard work and share in their joy, while also wishing them continued success in their future endeavors.
Expressing his hope, Chowdhury said, he believes that the students will embark on their higher education with renewed hope and a commitment to serve the country and the state as enlightened individuals.
The event also recognized the contributions of the teachers and mentors who played a crucial role in the students’ education and success, emphasizing that their contributions will always be remembered by the students.
