Since 2008, USTA Wheelchair Tennis has been a steadfast champion for the sport’s development, investing over $650,000 in grassroots programs nationwide. These grants go beyond mere financial aid; they represent a strategic commitment to cultivating a thriving ecosystem for wheelchair tennis, with a particular focus on programs with an emphasis on attracting new junior players to the sport.
Grant amounts are based on each program’s existing budget, as well as the future programming needs of the organization, and should assist in providing assets including coaching, court time, events (i.e., run/rolls, tournaments, camps) and equipment.
