Dr. Shavonna Herron’s journey is one of faith, resilience, and relentless pursuit of purpose. “I became a mother at a very young age, and while many saw that as a setback, I used it as fuel to rewrite my narrative,” she shares. Leaving high school to care for her children, she never let go of the dream that her story was just beginning. Years later, she returned to earn her diploma, obtained her real estate license, and began building a legacy for her family and community.
She launched multiple businesses, including East Coast Property Management and Consulting, where she now mentors, consults, and manages portfolios with excellence. “I’ve also created national platforms for women in leadership, real estate, and business—because I believe that when one woman wins, we all rise,” she affirms. What led her to distinction wasn’t a perfect path—it was “a divine calling, matched with grit, grace, and a desire to turn trials into triumph.”
One of her greatest accomplishments was founding East Coast Property Management and Consulting, where she has successfully managed multi-million dollar portfolios, revitalized communities, and empowered countless families through stable housing solutions. She also led one of the largest revitalization projects in Raleigh through DHIC and Ginkgo Residential. “That opportunity deepened my commitment to affordable housing and opened doors for me to advocate for veterans, single mothers, and underserved communities.”
Receiving the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for her service and humanitarian efforts stands as one of her most humbling honors. She also launched the Women Will Win Global network and hosted the Rise, Reign, Lead Summit, creating spaces for women to grow, collaborate, and thrive in business and leadership.
