Jawahar Kala Kendra and Department of Art and Culture, Government of Rajasthan organised a cartoon exhibition Artist Collaboration Series Episode-4: ‘Chitram’ – A Virtual Group Exhibition. On the first day of the exhibition architect, product designer and cartoonist, Nishchal Jain presented a collection of his cartoons prepared during the lockdown.
The exhibition featured cartoons on Corona, pandemic, lockdown, and other issues like politics, social distancing, new normal, design, masks, and much more. The unique cartoons touch the issues of the common man. It is to be recalled that Jain has been drawing cartoons from a young age and his first cartoon was published in the newspapers at the age of 14 years. Since then his cartoons have been published in various publications in the country. He has also received many awards for his creations.
