After relegation last season, Moore is trying to oversee an immediate return to the third tier for Vale, whose 14-point haul from the last six games is the best in League Two.
With only Saturday games now to focus on until their trip to Harrogate on Tuesday, 22 October, Moore is relishing the chance to work with a slightly less hectic schedule ahead of meetings with MK Dons and Fleetwood Town in the next fortnight.
“The big thing is we’ve got to the 10-game mark,” he said.
“I’m really looking forward to these two weeks now because of the work we can put into them now and make our game better.
“I told the boys to keep developing and learning and building together.
“I’m looking at the squad and we’re growing and developing, and I’m happy with where we’re at but I’m not satisfied.”
