London School of Economics

Public policy and public service have been in the London School of Economics and Political Science DNA since its founding in 1895. Today, the School of Public Policy (SPP) at the LSE is the contemporary embodiment of the founding mission of LSE, i.e. to understand the causes of things and for the betterment of society.

From its strategic base in central London, the SPP is doing just that. It has an international community, with as many as 69 nationalities represented and seemingly countless more ideas to share. Pair their diverse dispositions and distinctive demographics with events reimagining capitalism and a “Westless” world, and you have an ecosystem of bold thinking that inspires any enquiring mind.

Complementing this multicultural, community is the SPP’s multifaceted approach to teaching. Guided by a world-class faculty and professors with experience in government roles, programmes blend rigorous academics with on-the-ground, hands-on work. It’s engaging and empowering — turning students into graduates ready to make a difference in public, private, and international sectors.
