The Russian Music Museum opened at the Turkish-Russian Friendship House in the capital Ankara on Thursday with the inauguration, led by Aliona Palazhcenko, drawing notable figures such as Belarusian Ambassador to Ankara Viktor Rybak, Undersecretary of the Russian Embassy in Ankara Sergey Koritskiy, and President of the Russian Cultural and Scientific Center (Russian House) Aleksandr Sotnichenko.
Turkish officials and numerous art enthusiasts also attended the inauguration. Ambassador Rybak emphasized the importance of art at the event.
“I love music and I know that Turks love music too. I want to bring the peoples of Russia and Turkey closer together through music,” Palazhcenko, the designer of the museum, said.
“We know how much Turks love music, how close they are to it, how much they love Russian music here,” said Undersecretary Koritskiy.
In the museum, many artifacts and objects related to Russian music were showcased for visitors.
