2. Life Skills (Challenging Athletes Minds for Personal Success): A program that provides a wide variety of activities from interview techniques to community service projects to informative presentations to inspirational speakers.
3. Student-Athlete Advisory Committee: A committee comprised of members for each of the intercollegiate sports that serves as the voice for the student-athlete population with special emphasis on NCAA legislation and its effect on student-athletes, academic achievement, CHAMPS/Life Skills programs, community outreach programs, and well-being issues and other general concerns facing student-athletes at High Point University.
Additionally, by working closely with various on-campus resources, such as the Academic Services Center and Career Center, the Department of Athletics can truly provide broad-based services for its student-athletes.
